There are five challenging Gold Trophies in Astro Playroom‚ focusing on speedruns and special challenges. These require skill and precision to unlock‚ making them rewarding achievements for dedicated players. There are 14 Silver Trophies‚ focusing on core story completion and collectible-based achievements. These trophies reward progression through levels and discovering hidden items.

Just a few days ago, we added a second Special Bot, Selene, from the PS5 title Returnal. Once again, working together, you were able to crack the riddle and free her to make it 2 out of 4. This will complete the challenge, unlocking the Ape Escape Special Bot and earning you the No Escape! If this is your final Special Bot to unlock, you’ll also get the Four the Players Trophy. Throw the cannister with the net inside at the blue aura when the lock-on symbol appears to reveal the Special Bot.

There’s even a Trophies section to help you earn that coveted Platinum Trophy. The robots from the VR classic find new footing on the PS5 in Astro’s Playroom from the PS5 reveal event. When you return to the main hub area of Astro’s Playroom, the gigantic PS5 Pro will be displayed next to the base PS5, with a little Astro Bot perched on top. I wish Astro’s latest adventure lasted longer but I have no doubt that we’ll be seeing more of the new PlayStation mascot in the future. Upon jumping into the Cooling Springs level, I didn’t have to play long before feeling just how next-gen this controller is.
